In recent months, we have worked tirelessly to integrate a highly anticipated feature into our digital signage software: project management. With this update, Disign evolves into a more social and open platform, addressing the growing needs of our users.

What does this involve?

Project management brings enhanced security by providing in-depth management of roles and permissions for your collaborators. Simultaneously, this feature marks a significant evolution of Disign towards a social platform. Rest assured, this only involves the positive aspects of a social platform, aimed at improving collaboration and efficiency.

Before the advent of projects, you were limited to a single organization, which involved creating campaigns and players for that unique organization. Today, Disign shifts towards a more flexible platform, allowing each user to join and collaborate with multiple organizations. This new feature is particularly beneficial for marketing agencies and freelancers, who can now manage multiple clients without having to create multiple accounts.

Managing organizations and projects

With organization management, you can now create and belong to multiple organizations. This feature is extremely valuable for Disign resellers, allowing them to stay closer to their clients and enhance their support.

The multi-organization capability comes with the option to manage multiple projects within each organization. Each project is completely sandboxed, meaning it does not share any information with other projects. You can isolate each project by assigning different people to each one, ensuring optimal segregation and strengthening security and permissions.

When creating a new project, you start with a blank slate, allowing you to test and organize your assets, campaigns, and other elements of Disign according to your personal logic (by clients, territories, etc.).

If you leave an organization, you can continue to work with other organizations without any issues. There is no need to delete your account, which facilitates project management and continuity.

Permission management and security

Organizations can invite Disigners to join specific projects with defined roles and permissions. There are several levels of security:

1. Organization-level security: managing billing, invitations, projects, and subscriptions.
2. Project-level security: managing roles and permissions for collaborators, such as players or broadcast managers.

You can configure permissions very precisely according to your needs, or use predefined roles to simplify management.

For those who prefer simplicity, a project is created by default when setting up an organization. You can choose to use it without needing additional configuration.
